Use this guide to upgrade Converged Systems from RCM releases that support VMware vSphere 6.0 to an RCM release that supports VMware vSphere 6.5. This document also provides prerequisites and strategies to minimize system downtime.

IMPORTANT: Starting with VMware vSphere 6.5, the Cisco Nexus 1000V is not supported. Dell EMC recommends migrating from the Cisco Nexus 1000V switch to the VMware Virtual Distributed Switch (VDS) before upgrading to vSphere 6.5.
